Roufas was the sire of 3 Straight Babson Egyptians (SBE), 2 mares and a stallion. His first SBE daughter was ASF Hannah in 1975 from Sables Gem (Negem x Sable). She has bred on in SBE lines with 6 of her 7 foals being by Babson stallions. Roufas sired a son AK Rasheem from Hannah (Fabah x Fasera) in 1979 but he was lost young and did not breed on. His last daughter was Aziza Bint Roufas from Roulett (Mahrouf x Roufina) foaled in 1988. Both daughters have bred on in SBE.

Roufas' dam Aaroufa produced 11 foals, all SBE. Two were by Faddan, the 1956 mare Fada (Granddam of The Shah and Serr Maariner) and the SBE stallion Roudan in 1957 who did not breed on in SBE.

Aaroufa's next 6 SBE foals were by Fa-Serr, all full siblings to Roufas. They were Maarifah (1958 mare), Bint Aaroufa (1961 mare), Serarouf (1962 stallion - exported to Canada, did not breed on), Roufina (1965 mare) and Aarouser (1966 mare). Several of these full siblings earned honors at the US Nationals in halter or performance.
