Amir Char Serr is a Straight Babson stallion who came to Hidden River, along with his dam, as a yearling. He is registered as bay but is appears to be true non-fading black in color. |
His name reflects his connection to Char Serr, a wonderful black stallion presented by entertainer Wayne Newton in high school exhibitions. It is still considered a rare line within the Babson group.
| Amir also carries a rare line to the Babson mare Fada. Fada is the dam of Bentwood's halter champion Fadl Dan (by Fabah). Through her daughter Bint Fada by Fa-Serr, Fada is the grandam to The Shah, British National Champion Stallion and Reserve Champion at The Solon De Cheval. Her daughter Maarena by Fabah is the dam of the famous dressage champion Serr Maariner. |  |
