AK Serramah was bred by
Bentwood Farm of Waco Texas. She was a Mah Hab daughter from the Faserouf
daughter AK Bint Serasaab, who was last in the United Kingdom with
Gert Stam.
Serramah left Bentwood as a yearling and spent most of her life owned and loved by Frank and Julie Maruyama of California. She was the dam of 5 foals, 4 were Straight Babson Egyptian. |

Serra Bint Lothar by Abbas Ibn Lothar for Gayle Rowe in Canada.
Gayle was Serramah's final home. Gayle said in her "greener
pastures" - "I miss Serramah every second and have
barely been able to function, she truly was the kindest mare I have
ever known, and I had hoped she would be with me for many more years.
How do you survive without the special ones?"
Serramah spent time with us at Bint Al Bahr over the years. She was a lovely mare, very sweet and affectionate, bold moving but always easy to handle. We very much enjoyed her long visits. |
