Bint
Roulett
has 50% Fabah blood. Fabah was a noted broodmare sire, siring
several mares who were or produced National winners. Fabah was foaled in
1950, so we feel very fortunate to have this blood in such a rich
concentration late in the 1990s.
Bint Roulett’s sire Mah Hab (Mahrouf x Bah Habba) was a wonderful black/bay stallion. I first saw this horse in 1988 and he captured my heart with his beauty and powerful trotting action. He shared his pasture with a grey gelding that he met well after he was already a mature breeding stallion. They shared their hay and stall. Mah Hab had a exceptional disposition even among Babsons which are noted for quiet, mellow dispositions. |

Hab was shown at dressage and did very well. He is now sadly gone but is
survived by several Straight Babson foals through the efforts and energy
of his owners Bob and Gayle Tyler of Mansfield, Texas.
In 1996 Bint Roulett foaled a bay filly, Fabah Mahrena, by Ahmed Fabah sending that 50% concentration through to another generation. This filly will have a very special place in our future breeding program as she replaces her sire Ahmed Fabah, a 1972 son of Fabah, with the coveted 50% Fabah blood known for producing great broodmares. |

Abbas Ibn Lothar by Ibn Lothar, #173006 (Lothar x Shar Sabbah) was foaled in 1997. He is a rare St. Babson Lothar Sireline Babson Stallion. Bint Roulett was next bred to Ibn Mahrouf to foal Nefrett in 2000. She is now owned by Dr Keith Kosel. Her 2001 foal was the stallion Mah Sabbah Bedu by Ibn Sabbah Bedu+/. He is owned by Dr. Keith Kosel and Susan Mayo. He is shown in dressage and has earned a Regional Championship in Sport Horse in Hand. |

Bint Roulett's 2006 filly is Khebirs Kira by Bedu Sabir. She is a double Khebir mare, a full sister to 2003 filly Khebirs Amira. Bint Roulett has a quiet sensible disposition and passes this on to her foals. She is very friendly and always manages to get more than her share of a visitor's attention.
