We are celebrating!!!

In the early hours of March 26th 2008, Dahma Saafada presented us with a wonderful colt by Abbas Ibn Lothar.  Another beauty for the rare "with Lothar" group!  We are now up to 8 horses in that "keep the diversity" Babson bloodline group. 

This colt is a sireline Lothar with all the 1932 Babson Imports in his pedigree.

Just ten days before his birth his dam Dahma Saafada had emergency colic surgery for a 360 degree twist of the large intestine.  She is shown here a few hours after giving birth wearing the corset that gave her girth to navel incision the support needed during the birth.  It was a scary time but everything has turned out alright.
