Born March 23, 2003 at 9:30 AM The birth of this very special filly adds another mare to the rare group of Babsons who trace to Khebir (*Fadl x *Bint Bint Sabbah). Khebirs Amira traces twice to Khebir through her sire Bedu Sabir.

I explain to our pregnant mares, over a bucket of their favorite cookies, about the comforts of foaling in the sunshine. "You won't be cold and wet in the 30 to 40 degree night. Your breakfast will be served on time and you won't miss a meal. You will have my undivided attention as I wait to serve you your "after foaling bran mash." Your dinner will be served on time after the foaling is complete and we will all sleep better at night." "The talk" works here at Bint Al Bahr! 15 of my last 18 foalings have been daylight foalings. These comfort loving Babsons are wonderful and very considerate! |
